What I picked from Kim's Savvy Southern Style Giveaway and Target Find

A few weeks ago Kim from Savvy Southern Style
had a giveaway from Antique Farmhouse and I WON! I wanted to show you what I picked. It's something that I've had my eye on for a while.....

This gorgeous horse statue.

I love the variations in the color of the cast iron , it makes it look old and antiquey. Love it!

Every self respecting farmhouse either needs a horse statue or the real thing, fortunately I have both!

So I just want to give a shout out to Kim and Antique Farmhouse to say Thank You one more time!

I also wanted to share what I found at Target recently.

It's the little white urns with greenery. They're so fresh looking and reasonably priced at $12 for the large ones, like the one next to my horse and $9 for the small one pictured above. I always add some greenery to each room, it just completes the look in my opinion. See that little glass cloche? I found it in my father in law's attic, it's like a pitcher but it's open on the bottom, so cute. Does anyone know what it is?

BUT WAIT! Before you go I have a surprise!!! Make sure you stop by this coming Wednesday for a SUPER GIVEAWAY, you won't want to miss this one!

Wow Us Wednesday

  6. LOVE your horse statue! It is great and what a wonderful win!!

I "think" that glass thing was used for the medical purpose of "healing". I saw something similar that my grandmother had. She said when kids were little and had earaches they would put the cup over the ear and blow smoke!!!! into the tube-thus warming the ear and I suppose the heat helped the earache. Not sure if that is what that is or not-but it looks like it. xo Diana
